Marital Status
Five categories were offered as fixed responses to obtain information about the respondents’ martial status. The largest percentage of respondents (36%) indicated they were divorced, followed by 33% who had never married. Over half of the respondents reported being married at the time or having been married and are now divorced, widowed, or separated. By comparison, almost 55% of the general Alaska population is married. Table 4 displays specific responses.
