Vocational Rehabilitation Services

Respondents were asked if they had ever received vocational rehabilitation services from any agency or program. An almost equal number of respondents indicated they received vocational rehabilitation as didn’t. Table 20 displays specific responses.

A Spearman Rho analysis revealed a slight correlation between vocational rehabilitation services and employment that is statistically significant (R=.216; p = .002). Those who received vocational rehabilitation services were more likely to be employed after receiving benefits.

Respondents who reported receiving vocational rehabilitation services were asked about the type of services they received. Pre-employment training was the most frequently used service, followed by job skill training. Table 21 displays specific responses in rank order of frequency.
