IRWE allows people on both SSI and SSDI to deduct disability related work expenses when determining their eligibility and cash payments. For people on SSI, IRWE's will be deducted in figuring the amount of the SSI cash payment and for people on SSDI, the IRWE will be deducted when determining SGA.
